Blog of the Month

Blog of The Month_My Solidarity Sister_NoviceMommy BlogI have a confession. Up until very recently, I didn’t read follow a whole lot of blogs. I pretty much opened any blog post that showed up in my Facebook feed but there weren’t any blogs or bloggers that I consistently followed.

As I started getting more and more serious about blogging, I decided to change that. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still open any random post but one of my goals this year is to find a handful of bloggers (maybe two handfuls) that I connect with and relate to.

It may take awhile to find them, but find them I will!

In the spirit of broadening my blog reading horizons, I wanted to highlight a blog that I’ve recently found and am enjoying.

I came across a program called Solidarity Sisters on Twitter back in December. It’s a month long program put on by Susannah at Simple Moments Stick. Susannah pairs women bloggers up with a partner, or sister, for the month and sends weekly prompts to help them get to know each other and encourage one another as bloggers. It’s a great way to connect with a new friend!

I am just coming to the end of my first month in Solidarity Sisters (I’m all signed up for February!) and I wanted to introduce you to my sister, Tayrina Gonzalez, and her blog, His Purpose in Me.

My Solidarity Sister, Tayrina Gonzalez.

Tayrina’s mission is clear. She wants to tell people about Jesus and help them grow in Him. She is consistent, systematic and fierce in her efforts to minister through her blog. I absolutely love this about her!

Please do me a favor and check out Tayrina’s blog! She has some great tools on there, including resources for Bible journaling, and posts that will encourage you in your faith.
