If there’s one thing I know to be true about life it is that there is always a lesson to be learned. With every situation and every encounter we can take a step back and find a “gold nugget”, something of value to take with us as we continue on this journey called life. Sometimes these lessons are immediate and are presented to us like writing in the sky. Other times they take longer to learn and are more like finding a needle in a haystack, still, there is always a lesson. There is always something to take away that will make us better, stronger and wiser, it’s just a matter of whether or not we take it!
I invite you to journey with me as I share the things I’ve learned about life (and the things I’m currently learning about life). Things like… don’t tell boys your sister’s in the shower (courtesy of mom in 1990-something) or don’t make salsa with a hand mixer (courtesy of me, way more recent than I’d like to admit!) or you’ll never meet some peoples’ expectations because they can’t even meet their own expectations (courtesy of my therapist!).
I love finding the lessons in every day life and I hope to share some with you!
